Day 1
Bangkok

Arrive at Bangkok airport. Meet at the exit door C 10. Welcome by your guide and transfer to your hotel. Room available from 14h00. Overnight at the hotel.

Bangkok

An exciting day ahead! Morning departure in Tuk-Tuk, this stunning and famous three-wheeled taxi, to get to your cooking school. You will learn the preparation of delicious Thai, salads, curries, fried noodles (depending on market). Lunch. Then departure to visit the Royal Palace and the Emerald Buddha Temple, Wat Phra Kaew. Return to your hotel. In the evening dinner show of Thai dancing and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3
Bangkok – Floating Market – Rivière Kwai & Kanchanaburi

Morning departure to join Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai. Stop at amazing and picturesque market Maeklong, installed in the middle of the railtrack. By an ingenious system, traders promptly store their stalls to let the train go. Continue to the floating market of Damnoen Saduak colorful. Free time to stroll and take great pictures. Continuation to the region of Kanchanaburi, known for Wild River Kwai, brought to the screen by the celebrated novel by Pierre Boule: The Bridge on the River Kwai. Lunch, overlooking the bridge and boarding the train snaking between cliff and precipice, called the death train. Indeed, Hell's Pass has cost many lives to Allied prisoners of World War II (English, Canadians and Australians). Boat transfer to your hotel, located on the River Kwai. Installation. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Kanchanaburi - Ayutthaya

Departure to Ayutthaya, the former capital of the Kingdom of Siam, classified by UNESCO as World Heritage. Lunch en route. Visit the Palace of Bang Pain, the former summer residence of King Rama V. Visit Temple of Phananchoeng. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Ayutthaya- Sukhothai

Visit the Museum of Ayutthaya, gathering all the statues and objects found during the excavation of the ruins of the park. Continue to Lopburi. Visit the Temple of San Phrakan invaded by monkeys. They are respected by the locals. Continue to Sukhothai. Installation, dinner and night.

Day 6
Sukhothai -Chiang Rai

Visit the Sukhothai Historical Park UNESCO world heritage of humanity by UNESCO. This city was the first capital of Siam in the thirteenth century. Departure to Chiang Rai via Lampang. Lunch in Lampang. Stop and visit a pineapple plantation with tasting. Dinner and overnight in Chiang Rai.

Chiang Rai – Triangle d’Or – Chiang Mai

Departure to visit the golden triangle, where Thai, Lao and Burmese borders merge. This region was once famous for its important opium trade. Visit the museum of Opium. Lunch and boat ride on the Mae Kok River: visiting a village located at the edge of the river. Continue to Chiang Mai. Dinner and overnight.

Chiang Mai

Morning departure for the discovery of the craft heritage of the North: factories umbrellas, lacquers, silks and precious stones. Lunch and afternoon visit the temple of Doi Suthep. Temple located on the heights of the city and revered by Thais, subject to important pilgrimages. Return to your hotel. Dinner folk dance Kantoke. Return to the hotel. Night.

Day 9
Chiang Mai – Bangkok by sleeper train

Morning departure to the elephant training camp located in the Jungle. You will witness the bathing elephants with their mahouts, followed by a demonstration of their work in the forest. Continuation to Orchids' farm. Lunch, transfer in the afternoon to the Chiang Mai Railway Station. Dinner on board (package / meal). Overnight on the train in 2nd class air-conditioned sleeper.
